my horse 's under stress

I need some advices...

I have a PRE (spanish horse). It's 5 years old, and it is under stress, when it makes exercices, even when we are spending time out of its stall.
I think It is just young, and it lacks experience, so I try to calm it down, to reassure it. But I don't understand what problem it has, and especially, how I can help it.

Do you think I should try other exercices, like going in a forest, walking it in a puddle of water and so on?

Walk him. I have 4 years old running nuts when they see other horses. When I calmly walk her for 10-15 mins: walk, stop, change directions, etc. it help her to concentrate more.

You just need to keep his mind busy doing other things, consantantly changing what your doing so his mind doesnt have time to worry about anything else.

Yeah, what exercises is he currently doing? ;) I suggest trying something new. How about lunging him for a bit?
