calling all mare owners.. is this normal?

I gave Vega a bath yesterday and cleaned her teets. I noticed that a little bit before them, she had two bludges. One was more prominant on her right side than her left. Should i be worried about this?
I only took pictures of her right side because it concerns me a little bit more.

My mare doesnt have them but I have seen multiple mares with those, actually a few more than what your mare has and it didnt seem to cause any problems.

Hmm, Lexi never seems to have those, but like the others said I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. ;)

Hi
Check if yoy can see ticks hanging there. Sometimes tick bite can make swelling like this.

If I'm looking at the right area I'm betting its a little hormonal bagging. Ours will get a little swelling sometimes (especially in the spring) when they are about to go into season. Vida will even produce a little milk. Of course Fras produces milk all the time  It it gets really large, hard and has heat in it you will have to put her on some anitbiotics. She may have a milk/mammory duct having problems

I would definatly say that it's hormonal bagging. My mares get that when they are horsing (in season) Have you noticed if Vega is cycling?

i know she was showing signs like last week.

But she hasn't been as moody or anything as she normally is.

That's really interesting. I didn't know some mares can produce milk like that. What causes it?
