AQHA- Amatuer member or General Member I am going to become a lifetime member of the AQHA so I don't have to keep paying money every year. I am training my own horse but no one elses. Can someone explain the difference in classes for open verses amateur? |
a general member is just a member. An Amateur is what you need if you want to compete. |
As long as you aren't being paid to train or instruct you can get an amateur card. Posted via Mobile Device |
Only the life time membership comes with the general..... it seems then I would have to show open if I don't get an amateur card. |
i would call and ask someone at the office. You do not want an opien card if you are not a trainer. It will limit your classes that you can go into. I think who ever said a genral is not for competting is right but it is the same price as and amiture so maby they just do not have it listed. Deffantly call. |
AQHA has some dumb rules. It would be too easy just to remove amateur from a card renewal...lol Posted via Mobile Device |
