7 year old paint quarter horse cross.
Something about the bald face I just adore.
(By the way, just buying for pleasure/arena work/trails)
What do you think?
Pictures are small and without proper confo shots it is really hard to make any judgments on him. :-)
I agree, hard to tell much from the pictures. The only thing I can see is that the bald face is adorable, which doesn't help you much I guess.
For your purposes (trails/pleasure) I would say that as long as he is sound, healthy and has a good head on him they he would probably be OK. Of course conformation is important but it is more crucial when we are using the horse for strenuous work such as jumping, barrels, dressage etc as those types of pursuits are more likely to put strain on any conformational weaknesses.
I vote go and have a ride and see how he does!
Woah... freaky... looks almost exactly like a horse I was just looking at. XD I checked your location just to be sure! lol
Adorable! I also agree with what sarahver said above. :)
pretty boy! He looks like he has a few confo faults, but for trail rides, you shouldn't have much of a problem.
In the first picture of him with a saddle, he looks long backed to me and a little too steep of an angle in the front pasterns. But as you pointed out it's very hard to tell with these pictures.
I was just wondering which pic you were going off more than anything!
Oh the first one lol. Only because it's more of a body shot, and doesn't appear to be an angled shot.
