What color show coat looks good with my horse?

I have all chestnut ovation tack that i use right now on my blood bay mare and black brown and white pinto gelding.

I am a show jumper and regularly wear polos at shows unless i do hunter classes which is kind of rare but when i DO go in there i want to look good. I'm more concerned about what looks good on the pinto because bays look good with everything :|

heres some pictures of my current horse show wear for hunter jumpers.
I dont feel like my navy blue ovation coat is in style. does it fit me badly?

ignore the little black saddle that belongs to my student in the picture.

oh and the second picture shows my new collar. its obnoxious but i love it. its my horses name.

It is a little hard to tell from the picture but I think your coat is a little big on you. This is easily fixed by visiting a tailor. A navy coat will never be out of style in the hunter ring. Every hunter/jumper rider should have a navy coat in their show clothes collection.

I wear royal blue with my sorrel/white pinto, and royal blue with my solid sorrel. Hot pink with my bay/black QH. You just don't want to have two dark colors clash. Like a black horse and navy blue tack. Its kind of like wearing black pants and brown shoes.

Navy blue and black will most likely not ever go out of style. In fact, the majority of horses and riders I see at shows have a black or a navy jacket.

The cuts might change slightly, but other then that....they will be the same.
