I have the same paints, but I don't really use them any special way.

What are you trying to do with them?

The penultimate rule of paint is that you put dark paint into light paint, little by little. It's all about the process.

Did you have trouble finding the right colours to mix with, or is it the texture of the paint? If it's the texture it may just be the brand of paint you're using. Also, painting on paper instead of canvas can be difficult because the paint reacts differently to it. It can look streaky.

No I didnt mean mixing the paints I meant When I have painted onto the paper I try to Get different colours into it to make it look real and I found that I would have 2 completley diffferent browns or other colour next to each other.

Thankyou for helping me by the way!!

If you're painting on paper it may be a good idea to use acrylic primer (or regular imulsion paint) to prime the paper first, it's a cheaper alternative to buying canvas.
Also it's a good idea to work background to foreground.
If you're mixing you're paints and having problems blending them what i sometimes do is mix the tinyest bit of white or what ever colour you're using on to the painting where i'm blending and work it on to the paint on the page ( i hope that makes sense)

*whispers* I have never used paints to do a good picture before ;) Persoanally, I HATE painting, but my graphite is another story I love my graphite! I have no advice whatsoever to give you except take the others advice. (Oh and I want to see photos of this artwork you did, maybe then I can help you with things :D)
