I did a milk test

I read up on doing a milk test and followed it step by step. Here are the results what do you wiser grasshoppers think? Several different things I have read said that pool test strips are the same thing as what you buy for more money online. So thats what I used.

Does anyone have any experiance in doing these tests? How does this look to you all?

You can use regular pH test strips..... I took a foaling class and we had to monitor mares about to foal... We did these tests... The only problem is im trying to recall what they meant hahaha Give me a minute to try to remember haha

Any reading below 6.8 is generally a sign your mare will foal within 24-36 hours.... A reading of 6.4 which I think is what you have there means 12-24 hours.... Keep in mind these tests arnt completely accurate... Some mares like to fool around with us haha But there is a general idea.

I did another test the next day and it looked to me that the PH was 6.4 and the hardness was around 400. She is finally waxing now and today she was dripping milk. I am excited and cant wait Im sure she cant either. LOL. Thanks for the info JerBear.
