Can Women Saddle Bronc Ride?

I am REALLY interested in Saddle Bronc riding, it has gotten to the point were I watch every youtube video I can find and want to purposly get on horses that will buck. SO I want to know if women can compete in actual rodeos in saddle bronc events (or classes, whatever they are called!) Has anyone seen a woman riding saddle broncs??

I haven't but why not? I don't know the rules. But if someone wants to do something like that why can't they?

If you are really truely interested in getting into saddle bronc, a wise choice would be going to a school for. Not sure where you are located, but some schools "travel" around. The reason why I say go to a school is that it would be a good way to try it out without investing in all the equipment first. See if you have a knack for it. Rough stock events (not classes) are not easy.

Lyle Sankey has a rodeo school, and is probably one of the more famous ones. Not absolutely sure, but I also believe Rawhide Rodeo company has a rodeo school as well.
