new buckskin mare crit!
 

this my new mare she is a quarter horse, 16hh, a want to use her as my barrel horse. what do you think of her conformation? do you thing by her conformation she could mare a good barrel horse? (sorry she is so dirty) thanks

Nice horse. But downhill, straight through the hocks.

Speed is not going to be her strong point. Turns will be difficult with a horse her size. She'll have a huge stride, though.

16 hh is BIG for a competitive barrel horse. For low level stuff, with proper training and conditioning, she may do alright. Being downhill will make it more difficult for digging in around a barrel and driving from behind though.

Goose rump is all that really stands out to me. I agree that she may have a hard time moving off her hind end. But I love barrels so I say give someone a run for their money. Good luck!

Oh, I was gonna say size shouldn't be a huge deal. I know a barrel horse almost 17hh that runs CONSISTENT 18s.

Size shouldn't matter; my 15.3hh girl runs them just fine, and she's a TB!

I love his coloring and dapples, his neck is also stunning. Nice shoulder and legs. Faults have already been pointed out. I like him a lot!

hey everyone thnks for your coments! i would just like to say she is actuall uphill haha but where her front feet are the groung is lower from my horses pawing haha i jusr thought i would say that so you all know :P
