loose ring sweet iron with copper inserts

The new horse we are planning on buying uses a loose ring sweet iron bit with copper inserts. Can anyone recommend a brand and or a place to buy it. Pictures would be great, I did not see any in the sticky. Thank you in advance!

I came across this one quite recently: Dover Saddlery | Stübben STEELtec Loose Ring Snaffle Bit . and it looks very interesting (plus a good brand). I never tried it, but I definitely would get it when I was looking for one (unfortunately Dover didn't carry them that time).

What a coincidence! Thank you Kitten Val. I have never been on Dovers wesbsite and when I got your email that is where I was and looking at the same exact bit...that just blows me away! I guess I was confused because all I have ever used on my horses was hackamore, curbs (as a teen) and tom thumbs. I was just having a hard time on what I was looking for..thanks so much!

Glad it was helpful! :)

BTW, if you are short on money you can look into copper Korsteel (which is cheaper): Dover Saddlery | JP Korsteel Oval Mouth Copper Loose Ring Snaffle Bit . . I have similar bit for trail riding.

hey thanks again! I want to try something other than the Tom Thumb on my gelding so I will try it on him when I get it.
