My Model Horse Tack
4 Attachment(s)
As suggested by my signature, I make tack sized for breyer horses. I'll share some pictures, maybe I can get some feedback? Thanks guys!
PS- The last picture is the custom-made miniature saddle trees before I tacked the rest of the saddle on it!

ETA: Yes, I added stirrups to the roper saddle after the pictures were taken.

Wow!! How neat!! It looks great!!! So detailed, and so very accurate! Great job!

Thanks for the reply! Is there anything I could improve on? Anyone?

I don't see anything wrong with them. I really love the red and black saddle! What do you make the tree out of?

BuckskinBorn2Fly 05-17-2011 03:49 PM

Oh and also how do you make the stirrups? (I've tried stirrups a million times and can never get them right)

They look great!! So much more than I could ever do! lol

The only comment I have is to maybe work on your stirrups. Atleast with the pink and black saddle, the saddle and everything looks very realistic but not the stirrups. They look too much like a FruitLoop. :P Maybe add more angles?

Thanks everyone!

@Buckskin- it took me a long time to discover the right material to make the trees out of. Have fun and be creative for yourself!

@Gemini- they were supposed to be oxbow stirrups (Google Image Result for but even at that, I agree that they weren't my best work.

Wow awesome I love breyer horses, you can never be to old for them lol. Your tack looks amazing, I like the color of the first saddle better, but they are both very neat. :)

^They were ordered from me, I made them the colours she wanted. Not my cup of tea either. I like how they turned out though.
