The only horse a $200 saddle should be on is a saw horse. It isn't worth risking life and limb with a saddle this cheap. I have stripped down english saddles and it's what you can't see that can be scary. The pommel bridge is low quality metal which attaches to both sides of the tree. I have seen them with cracks in the metal. The tree is often bare wood resulting in breaking where the bridge attaches. Wood needs to be protected from drying out, moisture, etc or it will warp or lose strength and break.

It would be a good saddle to run away from as fast as you can.

You are much better off finding a cheap used saddle than something that can hurt your horse's back but is new.

If you like that look check out crosby saddles. crosby saddle | eBay

If you need an inexpensive saddle, look at the Wintecs. They are very well made, comfortable and are built to last! I have a VSD saddle and love it. I already have 3 other leather western saddles so no more leather for me!!
