Do you use the horse chat?

I love the idea of a live horse chat, personally i like live chatting better then the forum sometimes  But no one ever uses it! Im constantly looking for people in the chat room, i see this massive list of everyone thats online yet no one is on chat. Am i just on at the wrong times or do people really just have no interest in it?

I normally prefer the regular forum where I can take my time before I decide on what I want to post, even when just visiting with friends. I am horrible about re-wording a post 4 different ways before I'm satisfied with it and chat tends to move too quickly for folks like me. Most of the time, I only have enough time to check my subscribed threads and respond to them and new threads before either needing to go back to work or go to bed so I often don't even look to see if anyone is in chat.

Not to mention that I always feel awkward trying to find a way to excuse myself from chat conversation when I need to leave. It feels like walking away right in the middle of a conversation to me and makes me feel rude. It doesn't seem the same way to me on the regular forum, it's easier for me just to log off instead of making an excuse or explaining why I need to log off. You know what I mean:lol:?.

You see im the complete opposite! I over think when writing a post. I decide that what im saying sounds dumb and too scatterbrained so i give up. I can never organize my thoughts well enough to get across what im trying to say effectively. I will type out this big long response and then delete it. Im much better with short and sweet responses. Its much easier to hide my horrible communication skills in a live chat  Plus im on summer break so i have nothing better to do but be on here for the next 2 months.

I normally prefer the regular HF; however, there have been a few times where I've ventured into the chat. No one else has ever been in there at the same time though.

I don't use it much at all! Hah, there's rarely anyone on it anyway. I prefer the regular forum like everyone else. And the live chat tends to get glitchy on me when I use it anyway.

I would, but no one's ever in there

I go on, sometimes. There is sometimes a few people in there. I go in there, get ignored, get peeved, say bye, and leave.

I can't remember the last time I was in there. A year ago, when it was constantly flooded with people, maybe. I get nothing out of it, honestly; it's like a giant text room :-P. I much prefer the forum, where there's more than ranting about boyfriends and sisters.
