Any reason for a buckskin?

I just think there beautiful I have always wanted one...I go back and fourth with the buckskin and a big bay with a blaze...lol it's ust sooo difficult to find a huge buckskin.

Here you go - One of a kind buckskin Friesian sporthorse - Bella

Personally, when looking for a horse you should look at the horse, not the color.

In my opinion, would not saying you should consider the horse first than the color be better than saying you shouldn't consider color at all. Honestly, if I found two horses that looked the same and one was bay and the other chestnut... I'd take the chestnut. Why? I have a fondness for chestnuts. Just like I'd take a palomino over a buckskin, a chocolate over a silver bay and an Appy spotted over a pinto. I don't think any less of the other colors, its just my personal preference. No different then wanting a neon green saddle pad over a dark blue one. They both get the job done.

Now I understand people do seem to make silly choices on the basis of color alone, however, because a person prefers a certian color is not a reason to act as if they are clueless.

Never said they were clueless. But I wouldn't buy a horse just because it has a pretty color. It was just a little advice.

What is your budget? What level hunters are you wanting to do? What is your location?

Do you really need something that tall (are you REALLY tall)?

Nothing wrong with buying a horse for color, it is like finding a husband, if you are going to have it for the rest of its life, make sure you like looking at it.
