Ariat paddock boots - small feet

Hi all.

I'm usually a size 5 in woman's shoes, and none of the stores here carry Ariat's in size 5 (maybe the smallest they make them is 5 1/2?). The 5 1/2 are too big. So, I tried on a size 2, 3, and 4 in the kid's version (Devon III zip), and the size 2 seemed to fit the best! Has anyone else with size 5 feet gone with a kids size 2? It sounds really small to me, and wondering if I should go with the size 3 instead. Or maybe the kid's paddock boots just fit big? Should paddock boots fit snug or should there be a bit of room in there...thanks for any advice!

hmmm. Well I've never tried a size two, so I wouldn't know. I do know that I wear size 5 in womens though (actually, 5 is a bit too big xD) and that you're rights, its hard to find fitting boots! I bought myself some saxon paddock boots (much like the ariats) since they come in 5, and they fit me very well. I love that they're zip-up too ^^ you might want to check those out.

And paddock boots should fit snug, but not enough to cramp your toes!

I am a size 5, and my Ariats are a 6... they are a tad big on me but not horribly so.

Not sure how you can fit in a 2!

ok, I'm going to go back and try the 3's, lol, maybe I was wearing really thin socks and that made a difference?! I have narrow feet as well, and the one thing I really found with the 5 1/2's is that they felt wide...they only had the zip ups though, so I didn't get to try a 5 1/2 lace up. I had no idea finding boots would be this difficult! On a side note, the size 5 Treadstone Field Boot I tried fit like a glove...for $400! (not in my budget :P)
