The poor boy is feeling a bit sore tonight, he went to the vet today and came back a couple of ounces lighter :lol:

Love them ears! I think the ticks love the folds and soft skin. The only time I have gotten one...it has been in a place that requires a specialist to take it out...lol

How is he out on rides, does he have the stamina to go for a few hours? I've been searching for a breed of dog that might be suitable for my lifestyle and thought I might ask.

Blue Tick Coon Hound, sounds like he is living up to his name :) He is so cute!

He hasn't been out yet, he is only 6 months old and so far we have been encouraging him to stay home.

We bought him back in February after our Doberman suddenly died, now there was a boy who loved to come out riding with me, he would go all day and really enjoy it.

What an adorable hound!!! I love me some Coon Hounds! :-P

Any time my Dane has a tick, it's in her ears. I guess they prefer those soft, folded places to her nearly nekkid body. :wink:

I rarely find ticks on her though, they mostly like to try and hitch a ride on me. :-x
