I Need Some Ideas

Right now I am not able to ride because of back pain so I'm having some of my friends at the barn ride him for me right now to keep him in shape since I can't but I just wanted some ideas for things that I can do with him on the ground. Currently I take him on walks, graze him, give him baths (once a month), groom him thoroughly, give him treats, lunged him a couple times but it's hard to do because the ring is almost always full, and also I'll play follow the leader with him in the paddock sometimes (he'll follow me around wherever I go for a while and he seems to enjoy it but I can only do this when he's the only horse in the paddock or else the other horses come and play too and let me just say Brickens is not the friendliest horse).

So I was just wondering if you guys had any ideas for games and stuff I could do with Brickens while I can't ride. Thanks a bunch!

I would do some of the 7 Parelli games if I were in your shoes.
There are several posts here on how to do them. Let me find them for you

heres one Appylover made on video

Well I have searched for 10 min. and can't find the one I want :?
Spirithorse was kind enough to type out a list of the games but I give up finding it. You might check out their site http://www.parelli.com/home.faces

I would try ground driving. Keeps them responding to a bit, can work on bends and other stuff to help keep you guys sharp for when you can get back on. Also, I show quite a bit so I always work on Showmanship from the ground. That might not be something you would be interested in, though.

Hope you can get back in the saddle again soon.
