Here's a video i put together of Cheyenne of some clips and photos I have
Cheyenne, your mare is very cute! :)
One thing really stands out in your video though - she is very very consistently cross-firing - I only saw her cantering correctly once in the entire video - and looks off in the hind end. She also lands after jumps still cross-firing, which is very worrying - most horses will correct their lead over a fence. I cannot say I've seen a horse carry a cross-fire that long or consistently. Even the at-liberty photo she is cross-firing.
I would really suggest getting a vet out to see what's going on :)
Thanks :) and only one of the videos was recent. She doesn't do that anymore really. She's a tennessee walker and is finally getting how to do it correctly haha.
And in the barrel/poles arena that also had some other footage, the footing was total crap. It was about 3 in. of solid mud.. and that made her crossfire horribly as well.
JDI- THANK YOU!!! I have watched this video over and over going, "What is wrong with this horse?!" Cross-firing.
I agree. Beautiful mare, but I'd get her checked ASAP.
