Has anyone had a lesson with her, or heard of her? I'm schedualed for a lesson with her on thursday and Ijust wanted to know what your experiences were or what you've heard about her. Thanks guys!
I've heard of her. Don't know what kind of coach she is. Her competition record, for the levels she's competed, seems rather average to me.
I bought an upper level horse from the O'Briens and the horses' previous owner was Jessica Pye and before that he came from the Clifton Farm in New Zealand. I'm not sure what she did to him but I believe she took him WAY to fast. When I got him he was starved and just lifeless. I got him home and fattened him up and his true self came out. He had been beaten, that was obvious. He threw himself at the jumps. He was terrified of dressage at shows (afraid to be hit) and I found out a year later that he had a stop in him that the O'Briens masked by starving him. I worked him through everything and he turned out to be a great horse. I don't know if she did this to him or if the clifton farm did it (which i doubt), but because of the way my horse was, I would never ride with her. He had ALOT of holes in his training and if she was a great trainer, she would have seen this earlier on and fixed it. Instead she just let it get really bad and put his problems on someone else.
