I got to do a little cross-country!

I wanted my mom to take videos but her phone was REALLY dead :(. I was disappointed because I would love for u guys to see. We have a nice grassy area so we put up a few cross-rails and we have a little hill & log. So my trainer thought it would a great chance to have a little fun . It was SOO fun. My favorite part was when I trotted her to a like 18'' (tiny) cross-rail and she picked up a canter (my first time cantering her) & I kept her going over another cross-rail (2' or a little less like 22''). It felt so good. Her canter is awesome and it felt so comfortable cantering her over. She did awesome and it was my first time cantering over a jump :-o!!! I was so happy with the lesson. I took her over a tiny log/branch. She cantered away and I had to turn her through the trees and it is a pretty sharp turn so everytime I felt like I was going to fall off so I had to slow her down. So, great lesson!

Thanks alot! Don't be jealous. It was just some cross-rails outside of an arena, nothing you probably couldn't do. My arena was like a bucket of water . There was puddles everywhere so it was kinda hard to canter and stuff in there. But Amber was feeling her oats. HAHA. Her trot was so funny she was like "omg free rein lets have a little fast trot" & then I turn her towards the jump and she nearly slips and then recovers and like she is SUPER fast trotting to the jump and I'm like "Just canter ALREADY! :-|" LOL. I could barely ride the trot it was like a tolt :P LOL.

Haha, the thing is, I haven't jumped for ages and can't jump very high anyways. And then I always wanted to do cross country. :P

The bay. Yeah. He is gorgeous. I love TBs. They are great movers.

I love her too. I never met such a sweet horse (good for me because I'm not the best at disciplining :P). If you ask her clearly, she'll give it to you in a flash and will try her hardest. She's a great horse! :)
