Empower or Omegatin?
 

For a hard keeper in moderate work, which would you use? Empower or Omegatin? I've tried a zillion different feeds, so please no more suggestions for different things. My head will explode. I just want to know if anyone has had first hand success with either of these.

I am currently using Empower boost for two of my girls. I've been using it about 2-3 weeks and have noticed a marked improvement. Good luck with whatever you choose!

When I bought my Arab mare she was nine months pregnant and about 200lbs underweight. Looked like a skinny horse with a small hay belly. Everyone said there was no way I'd get her to gain weight but with strategy and empower she wasn't fat but looked fairly good at foaling time. Helped add weight once she was nursing. I liked Empower and I didn't have to feed a crazy amount to achieve my results. Just wish I could find it around where I live now.

We like Empower. As was mentioned, no crazy amount to feed to see results. Also no "hot" horses.

I've sign empower work and do wonders, especially for some very hard keepers. Where I just moved my horse, they use omegatin and say they've had great success with it with their hard keepers. I don't know first hand about the omegatin, though.

both are good products and if I had to choose between the two I would probably go with Empower
it has a lower NSC profile
