Thrown shoe (-need an answer quick, please)
Ignore this, problem solved.
A few friends of mine were going to go riding soon, but I just found that my horse has thrown a shoe, his back left leg... It's a fact I can't get a farrier out in time, unfortunately. I know it's not optimal to ride with only three shoes, but do you think he could make one ride? He's never thrown a shoe before, in all the time I've had him, so I honestly don't know. XD

I wouldn`t ride him. if I was you. but until the farrier can get out to reshod him. take duct tape and some kind of padding what ever is on hand and make a hoof pad and tape to his hoof for the time being. that will help so he don`t brake off any needed hoof.

don't ride, my horse loses shoes all the time and like previously said it could brake bits off the hoof, but its the mud that also pulls horses shoes off, but if he has to be excercised , then if you don't have a poached field, lunge him in there if the ground is good, then, maby you can ride, but DEFINATLY don't hack out!
