Please judge my horse's conformation! :)
 

She has been in dressage/jumper training for the past 8-9 months, so she is definitely in the best shape of her life! :)
Out of curiosity, I was wondering if people could give their opinions on her confirmation. I have posted a thread just like this one a few months ago, but I only got a few replies and only one of them answered my question.

Here's some general info about my girl:
Registered Name - Lockon Venus (OTTB)
Barn Name - Venus
Born - 03/02/1998 (13yrs)
Height - 16h
Weight - 1100lbs
Experience - expert in jumping, trained in dressage
Some famous names in her pedigree: Raise a Native, Secretarial Queen, Secretariat, Bold Ruler, War Admiral, Native Dancer

Super well conformed horse in every way! Textbook example of good conformation. Lovely neck muscle development. you get a gold star for taking good care of her. She is tip top. NO more weight, tho.

Yeah, I've been worrying about her weight myself. I'll def make some changes there!

She is a gorgeous girl, wonderful neck for a TB. Her shoulder is a tad upright, legs look great! She has a very kind eye also.

I see a shoulder that is a bit too upright.

You have set her up so well it is easy to overlook anything but what a nice picture she makes.

There's no such thing as a horse with perfect conformation. Every last one of them has faults.

OP, lovely, well put together girl, but I do have to agree with the others and say her shoulder is a tad straighter than I like to see.

I'd also like to see her squared up, and confo shots from the front, rear, and both sides that include the whole horse, not just parts of her.

I didn't want her completely squared up so that you couldn't see all four legs. In a lot of Deb Bennet's confo shots, they aren't completely squared up. I do think her back left leg is a little too far forward, but other than that I think it's fine. But what do I know :P

If I wanted a really thorough explanation of her confo, I should've done front and rear shots. I was just looking for a basic, overall idea of her conformation. Thanks for your input! :D
