Skype language problems
 

I am currently in Japan and need to download Skype to a new computer.
Because my IP-address is in Japan I am automatically transferred to an unreadable Japanese web site. It is a mistake to assume that anybody located in Japan automatically is able to read Japanese.

Does anybody know how to get Skype from an English language site when you are located in Japan?

I don't know any of that, but seeing that you are in Japan caught my interest. I lived in Japan three and a half years, way back long long ago. What brings you there now? ARe you liking it?

At the very bottom of the page to the left there is a drop down menu, select it and change to English. It looks like this:

Yes, I like being in Japan. I stay in Sendai and lived through the earth quake and tsunami on March 11.
