ISH or which breed?
 

I hope to start looking for a horse to buy in early 2012 and am in LOVE with Irish Sport Horses. This is largly because I own an Irish warmblood (my first horse) and I live in Ireland and have been exposed to the most amazing horses I've ever seen in terms of temperment and ability.

So when I return to the U.S., I'd like to find another but ultimately want to find the most suitable horse for me. I would love to do eventing and would like an friendly, intelligent and brave horse between 16 and 17 hands. I also prefer one is a calm temperment, but one that will get up and go.

Any suggestions on what other breeds I should consider or research?

I have a Belgian Warmblood and he's friendly,brave,calm and very couragious.
I use him for dressage,jumping and eventing,he's really allround.
But he's bred to be allround,his mom was a dressagehorse and his dad was a jumper.
You should have a look,they're very pretty and very cool :)
