HELP! My Horses Mane Is Out Of Control!
I don't show or anything and I don't want to make it short. He is a QH x Warmblood and has a long man and forelock. I've already moved his bridle path a little more forward to reduce the amount of forelock he has. But his mane is OUT OF CONTROL! I swear he has enough for 3 horses! I don't know what I can do without ruining it. Any help or suggestions is appreciated! I can even get pictures up too if you want to see.
Can i see pictures?
Here are pictures:
^With the top half braided
^Again, top half braided
^With all down, and just washed and dried
^Tried banding it for fun. Yeah, not so much fun!
um i cant see them :/ can you do the go advanced, manage attachments and load the pictures that way?
I just edited it. I couldn't seem them at first either. then I figured it out. let me know if it works or not
yep got it! wow she has a beautiful mane!!! i would love my horses manes to be like that! if you dont love it so much you can get it pulled but that doesnt always turn out so good, or i have heard some where of a relaxer you can put in the mane but i dont know anything about that!
Well i love the length, but it is so thick and fuzzy it's crazy! Even though he is about 15.3 he sometimes looks like an oversized pony! haha I would donate some to you if i could lol. I will have to look for this relaxer thing. could work
Why do you dislike his mane? Many people spend years trying to get a mane like that.
You could always take thinners to it and just thin it out rather than removing the length.
I understand that. which is why I don't want to ruin it. He's only 4 and has a mane like this, I got lucky. But with the fuzz it just gets so out of control. He is in pasture 24/7 so that doesn't help. But the middle section is horribly thick. Are you talking about the thinning scissors??
Jealous....One of mine sticks straight up! I would give anything for hers to look like this. Hopefully our weekly MTG will pay off....in 10 years! Lol
