I want to say Mustang...somewhere. Might help to know about where you are located. Are you in the US?

sierrams1123 08-13-2011 11:22 AM

kind of looks like a halflinger cross to me.

sweetpealover 08-13-2011 11:46 AM

im in alabama, and i kinda thought she was a mustang to but shes a little big to be a mustang shes about 15.2 if not a little bigger

Mustangs can be that big. They can be even bigger, actually.

A lot of ranchers would shoot the herd stallion and replace it with their own stallion (sometimes one of draft blood or a large gaited horse or whatever else they thought would improve the stock in the herd) so that they could then produce better quality mustangs that they could use on their ranches.

If she's supposed to be registered my guess would be Quarter Horse. My friend down the road has a QH gelding almost identical, only he has a blaze & is super tall.

My guess would be Quarter Horse. She kinda has that strong stocky build that would really muscle up good.

There are some registries for Mustangs too so that is a definite possibility since they can have a good stocky build too.

She almost looks halflinger cross to me, possibly quarter since their build can very so much. She could be a mustang, the mustang I own right now is 15.3 and my farrier shoes one thats 16.3-17 hands.

lol I think I'm the only one that doesn't see Haflinger. Which is odd... ha ha
