Okay, I'm not into barrels that much, I enjoy competing though. I don't have a high calliber horse to really be able to go far, but I'm just thinking about her.
This is my 4 year old mare that I have had her whole life. Her dams pedigree is Western Pleasure/cutting on the top, big time TB racers on the bottom. Her sire's pedigree is all cutting, reining and racing.
She spent 4 months at a cutting/sorting trainer, just to get her well rounded off so I could put her nose in a direction. If she doesn't do really good at barrels, that will just be one more thing that she can do. Nothing wrong with an all around horse:)
Please excuse the terrible pictures, they do her no justice.
I'm afraid that I have no idea what you are asking. Prospect for what?
I think she means Barrel Racing. She posted it in the barrel racing section. ; )
She has a nice build and she isn't too narrow. I think its worth trying out. Remember to take it slow don't do anything faster that a trot for some time. Going to fast too quickly could make her high strung when it comes to barrel racing.
