This is going to be my first time riding a horse that is green but she is pretty calm.We have worked on ground work.If you have any tips I would like it.

I'm confused. Is the horse trained or green? The title & content don't match.

If you have not trained a green horse, my advise would be to get someone to work with you and the horse together. One of you (either you or the horse) needs to know what you are doing and what you are trying to get done. If one of you does not know where you are headed, the horse will get confused and/or spoiled and you will have a less that pleasant experience with him.

I editted the title to make it a green horse, as per the OP's first post. Hope that clarifies things.

What is YOUR riding experience right now (before you take on a green horse)? How green is the horse you will be riding (unridden, backed 3 times, walking and trotting under saddle etc.)?

A few more details would help us to make a better recommendation.
