Troubadour traveling the west hanging out with horses!
Hello horseforum.com! :-)
My name is Ian. I've been lurking around here a bit and decided to take the plunge today and join up.
A little bit about me: I've been hanging out with horses for about 16 years, starting in high school and later working on various farms in Florida, Kentucky, Texas, Arizona and California. For a living, I work with horses, teach people, and do a little bit of singing for tips. I suppose you could call me a trainer, but I think of myself more as an aspiring horseman. I have a thirst for knowledge and am always studying, putting new ideas into practice, and striving to get better. The horsemen that I most admire and try to emulate are Buck Brannaman and Ray Hunt, though I also study just about anyone you could think of and am always on the lookout to learn more.
I'm looking forward to being a part of this community, hopefully making new friends, and maybe even contributing something useful once and awhile
Nice to meet everyone! -Ian
