Maybe getting Paso Fino tomorrow...

I just got back from going to the guys house that has been teaching me about Paso Finos and letting me ride his wonderful horses and it was awsome again. I rode both of his mares today and they were sweet as can be. He told me about a horse he wants me to go look at with him tomorrow he did not have alot of info but he has showed against her several years ago and said she is a really nice horse. Hes trainer rodre her the other day for the current owner on a 14 mile trail ride and he said she did awsome she is in her early teens and is Sorrel with white on her face the owner was asking $3500 for her but for my friend she said she would take $1200 and include the saddle and two bridles one is a normal one and one is a special bridle they use for Paso Finos that I can't remember the name of. Jim says the saddle is a really expensive German made one that starts with a S and are really comfortable. I explained to Jim that I did not have the money right now because I am waiting on my settlement from my back injury then he really surprised me by telling me that if I am sure I will be getting the money (which I am) he would purchase her if I like her then I can pay him for her when I get my settlement because he thinks she would be perfect for what I am looking for and that we could not beat the deal that we are getting on her. I am so excited and I am really glad that I sent him the email asking for info on Paso Finos when I saw his add for an exercise rider I started not to because I didn't want to bother him but the voices in my head told me to do it so I did, I am so glad I listened to the voices this time. So wish me luck tomorrow and maybe if your nice to me I will get some pictures for you guys. LOL

Wow I'm happy for you, and so jealous lol. You should take a camera and post pictures here tomorrow. I'm guessing the bridle might be a Jaquima.

I will get pictures if at all possiable. The bridle does not have a bit in it he uses them on his horses. He said the saddle is a very expensive brand that he really likes and that if I don't like it he will be happy to buy it from me or trade one of his saddles plus some money for it. I think since the horse has used it for the last 5 years I will keep it because that way I know its a good fit and she likes it.

The saddle is a Stuben and the bridle is called a bozzle.

Stubbens are relatively nice saddles, but I've never heard of the bridle name.

First, Congratulations on your horse! Sounds like a wonderful deal!!!
Second, I think you mean Bosal... Just be careful bc if it doesn't fit right, it can cause damage tothe sensitive cartilage in a horses nose.

I hope it all works out!

Thank you and yes bosal is the name and it is the one the horse has been useing so it should fit. Jim has been really good about explaining to me about this type of bridle and the English saddles as well.
