Gaited Horses and Eventing

Sooo, I don't know too much about gaited horses and
I may be getting a gaited Paso Fino mare. Myself, I like
to event for fun in playdays every Friday night, is there
any eventing a gaited horse can do?

I know most of the eventing is done with qh like keyhole
race, barrels, poles, buddy pick up, etc. What can a
gaited horse compete in?

Just curious, I couldn't find anything in a search... :D

They don't have anything like that around here...and I don't travel. :(

I'm talking about any playday or rodeo events.

i have no idea, i think if you can run the barrels or poles you can prboably do it on any breed.....

I'd say, he shouldn't have a problem, just so long as he likes it. I know a lot of people who will say, "A gaited horse can do anything!"

So what if you are not "conventional"? So what if he is gaited. He's got four legs, a steering wheel and some "go forward" if it isn't the same as everyone else's. Point him at something and see how he takes to it.

I don't think he'd have a problem doing that. :D
