New here and new mount! I'm new here and thought I'd show off my new mount Shania. Shania isn't mine but is owned by a family friend. I ride her about once a week (gas is expensive). She's a flea bitten grey Arabian who came to us a bag of bones. She hadn't been ridden in for ever and now that she can be ridden she's a pain in the butt and is starting from scratch pretty much. I'v ridden her a total of two time for 2 hours and am already seeing a small improvement. Here are some pics =) (please don't comment on the bit we aren't using it any more and are changing to a d-ring snaffle) http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...s/5b816e47.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...s/170d9aac.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...s/cdd3b827.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...s/05eda3db.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...s/40d00c25.jpg My old mount Tamira(absalutly LOVE this mare) can no longer ride her as new owners don't want me to(after saying i could >.>) Also arabian http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...s/37ee774b.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...s/d011f5d7.jpg |

That horse is gorgeous! I'm so jealous. One of my favorite colors too. Haha. :D |
Welcome to the forum! Don't worry about the bit she is using, there is nothing wrong with it if she neck reins, is used to it, and you know how to use it. Enjoy her! |
