Gorgeous gelding, but what breed?

hey, i was looking at a website that helps place PMU mares and foals into adoptive homes. I came across this stunning gelding! He's a 3 year old, and they do not list a breed. any ideas on what he could be? they get a whole bunch of different breeds, anything from a QH to a draft cross. the website is www.unitedpegasus.com

I would say a foundation style qh but it looks like he has feathers so i'd say you probably called it when you said a draft cross.....

Certainly a draft cross.

Dumas has feathers and he's a QH. This guy could be just about anything... But I'm thinking qh... Its hard to tell... They said cs6 bay.. so Idunno... If you are really interested you could shoot them an e-mail and ask.

He definately has the draft face, I'd say...
I'd go with a draft cross as well, but if you really do like him, I'd suggest what Duma's said and send them an email. :)

see... i was thinking he had a foundation face/body - like Old Fred?

Blue has very old style foundation bloodlines and I thought they looked alot alike, of course, I could be a little crazy, I get like that when I need caffeine....

I still think qh even after I go up and steal Fred.......whoops... Did I say that out loud???? Argh... another plan foiled......

I would guess it's a belgian cross just because of the coloring. Might be some perch maybe. I would be cautious with PMU horses. The breeding of those guys is always very obscure.

Thanks everyone. I like him, I would buy him but unfortunately I dont have place to keep him. (I would board, but I'm puting myself through college, so I cant :( ) I was just curious as to what he could be.

He looks like a draft (maybe Percheron) Quarter Horse cross as many of them are.
