Baby Flaxen
 

Someone on here a while back said that the light color in Rodeo's tail would grow out...when does this usually happen? He'll be 18months old next month, which I know is still young, but still has quite a bit of the "flaxen" throughout his tail....

I was just wondering, is this what this is throughout his tail, or is that just his color?

It might be, but it looks like a normal sorrel/chestnut tail. They tend to be several varying shades rather than a single shade like the tails of other colors.

Looks like a variant of chestnut to me. He looks like he's got sabino in him, a lot of sabino chestnuts I know have a slightly lighter or darker tail.

Thanks for the posts.....speedy da fish....from what I remember, someone on here told me he had some sabino markings and what not going on. I do know, after he shed his winter coat out, it was much more apparent that he had quite a few places where it seemed he was greying out, but I told that this was just sabino markings. :)
