western saddle hunting...opinions on this saddle
 

well we stopped by a tack shop near us and they had a nice leather western saddle on consignment there and wanted to know what you all thought of it. They are only asking $350 for it, and IMO it's a good price for it....I don't know the brand nor do they list it.

How well made do you think this will be? I mainly plan on using it for pleasure riding, trails, and possibly some shows, but I doubt I'd show anytime soon.

What do you think would last the longest? Worth the price or worth more than the asking price? Which would you choose? Thanks

personally like the second but that is because i like the looks of western show saddles and the only time i ride western is in shows sooo ya, lol :D . But all of them look nice and the first one looks very comfy

I like the first one, personally. :D It looks like it's in good condition & is comfy!

i say go with whichever one fits Sonny. If they all fit him, go by which one fits you :)

i personally LOVE the first one and it even comes with a bridle! i think its the best looking one and its pretty cheep too! id say if you like the first one deffinitly buy it.

of course whichever fits Sonny will be the one I get....but what do you think condition wise of all? Think it would last for a while?

I'm definately going to take out the first one first because it is cheaper...and it appears like it would fit Sonny. Cross your fingers everyone I'm going to try to convince my dad into letting me borrow it today. They give me a week trial so I'll be able to try it tomorrow!

I really like all three. They all look to be in great condition. Though I'm an English girl and know nothing about saddles hehe

They all look really nice...... I like the 1st one....I like that style of seat. I also like the 3rd.

The 3rd almost looks like a barrel saddle...

Typically a saddle built for a purpose... barrels, roping, etc... would be a stronger saddle. ANy of them look like they are in really good condition. Make sure you check the tree....

I'd say for resale the 3rd will bring you more money back if/when you go to sell it.

Sit in them and see what you think and then of course ...sonny.
