Morgan lovers: do you see any Morgan in this horse?
In my dreams I find a quiet 14.2 hand Morgan the same color as my quarter horse so I can teach my 7 year old to ride, and it would just be fun to have matching horses. Well, I'm cruising through the horse ads, and there she is, looking at me! Sadly, I can't afford more than 1 horse (I board), so it's all just a dream. Man, $200! And my horse is named Black Moon with a similar star, too ...
Anyway, do you see any Morgan in this girl? I really don't ...
I actually see a lot of Morgan in her.
Yeah, I looked at her again. I guess her neck and head aren't really the Morgan look I'm used to ...
I honestly do not see a full or part-blood Morgan in the mare in question. I was at one time a volunteer at a Handicapped Theraputic Centre. We had a full-blood gelding Morgan therapy horse on premises who had all the Morgan breed markers. The mare in question is to Thoroughbred and or maybe appendix in appearance.
She might be the older, stockier built morgans. Morgans today are usually more refined. I rode a morgan who was built like a QH but he was full.
These are all Morgans-
This is what I think of when I hear Morgan:)
This is Joey, a Morgan stallion I knew personally
Anyways, off of my picture-posting tangent...
I think it's very possible that mare is at least part Morgan. Her body shape/legs suggests it, though those are the greatest pictures to go off of.
I LOVE these pics- especially the last one! I have 2 full Morgans (unregistered) and I do see a lot of Morgan in your mare. Mine are more the Saddlebred type but I was hoping for the thick-necked type like the guy in the last pic!
I see Morgan, yup. She reminds me of my eighteen year.old.

I tried to look again but the link doesn't work anymore. But from what I remember she looked a lot more Morgan than QH or thoroughbred to me. She had a normal sized head rather than a teeny tiny one, which seems to be the "look" these days. She looked like a solid, sensible horse and that says Morgan to me! (I'm a bit biased though!)
