Mane Help Please
Today I bought a mini that has or I should say could have a beautiful silver white mane. The problem is that a lot of hair seems broken off on the top part. He has already got a pretty thick winter coat growing so I dont really want to bathe and shampoo him, is there a product I could get to just put in his mane and then maybe braid it or something to help with the regrowth? I am including a picture of him so you can see what i mean about the hair being broken (oh and yes he has already had his hooves trimmed)

i think just keep it conditioned and braided? that would be my best guess. oh, and MTG works! it smells bad but it works for hair growth!

I guess that is what I am askiing what would I condition it with and would it be a product I would just spray in or would it have to be washed out?

Use Mtg on it 2wice a week then just leaveit alone no brushing touching braiding or washing and in the spring when it gets warmer use Mane n' Tail shampoo and conditioner every 2 weeks along with the Mtg untill you get the look you want and hes soo cute

Hello I am new to this forum i would love to get to know you all. I have found that cowboy magic works best to condtion hair and it smells pretty good. it works wonders in a short time

I swear by MTG. Not only did it help my horse's baby flyaways and semi-mohawk, but it helped my hair too. I got curious and rubbed it on my roots once a week before bed just to see what would happen. Within a month, my hair had grown half an inch... which is amazing considering how heat-damaged my hair actually is.
Whatever you do, don't brush his mane! Finger comb the big snarls out and remove burrs, twigs, whatever else you find in there, but don't brush/comb it.
