Static in horses
Something we observed today was we've been getting alot of static in the horses.

We also realized it seems to be Arab varieties that we get the most in, Arabs, crosses and Arab type ponies.

Does anyone know why?

I know occasionally clothing can make a difference but generally we're in the sane outfits

Has it been low humidity or dry there? You could try using conditioner on them or even rub them down with drier sheets, the ones you put in the clothes drier. Just like our hair, we need to put conditioner in to keep the frizzies and dryness away.

When we get really dry here, I always keep a bottle of diluted conditioner on hand, and mist my mare from head to toe, especially focusing on her mane and tail! She is usually blanketed in the winter, due to not growing enough coat, so this is especially important, since when I unblanket her, and want to brush, she is super 'snappy' if ya know what I mean...Lol!
