cantering on the left hand
How do you make a horse canter better on his "bad" side? I am riding a school horse (who almost no one else rides because they are scared of him  ) and on the right hand he is great. However, when you canter him on the left hand he starts making smaller and smaller circles until he just starts trotting. Is there any way to strengthen the other side, or does he just need some more riding on his bad side?

It's not any different than going to the right. If you ask him for transitions in corners, or as you describe on a circle it will help him balance himself for that canter lead on that left rein. Make sure he is bend and that you have the proper aids (outside and inside rein, outside leg asking and you're sitting balanced in the tack).

I would work on goin in circles to the left, because more weight on the left leg and more of a work out, also works on balance. Just keep workin him on the lope on the left lead.
