Cruising around on Maggie - Video

So here's a video of Maggie.

I put the turn arounds first, there is no stopping as we aren't drilling her on the manuvers too much right now + I'm still getting used to her ahah.

I'm pretty much just cruising around on her the whole time. Even in the turn arounds I'm not asking her to turn around hard, so that's her turning around easy.

    She's lots of fun =)

    Thank you!

I'm sure we'll both make mistakes (mostly me probably) but she's so tolerant, kind and patient. She makes you feel good when you're on her which is nice haha. I feel comfortable 95% of the time on her too which is nice, and I never feel unsafe on her when I feel uncomfortable more just awkward and like I'm riding like crap aha.

Take and work with your hat on. I have found that horses who have shown quite a bit will work well when you are at home or even at shows but once you put your hat on their game face comes on and they are ready to show. Whole new game.

Looks like you are going to have some fun over the winter. Enjoy it is fun that is for sure.

She actually hasn't been shown a lot. Only 2-3 times a year since she was 3.

I'll probably work with my hat on closer to show season.

We were told by Francois that she basically shows the way she warms up, if she's high before you go in then she'll show high. Which I actually like, because you can tell how she is going to show and work her down more.

I definitely will have some fun this winter...its going to make being at school suck though!

Ooooh where can I get one?! Lol. You guys look really good.

I got my reiner when he was so out of shape and rusty, so I don't even know what he is like...I wish I had something to ride like that. I tried the only reining trainer in the area and didn't like him, so I am pretty much left on my own till I find someone else. I have a lot of work to do....

You are very lucky to have her

Haha its ok. I will be moving in about two years anyway, to colorado. I want to buy a new reiner when I get there.

Well I am in love with your horse, if I knew where she was I would probably have to steal her lol :P

Good luck with her and have fun
