Well young Emmy is going over to the reining trainer for a 30 day western foundation to be put on her.

I'm taking her over next Sunday, and I get to have an hours lesson on Hollywood, the mare I'm riding in the video, I'm super stoked about both things

Ad just because she is pretty Emmy cantering, well not only because she is pretty, but she is not rushing, bucking or motorbiking into the canter RESULT

I guess I missed this thread earlier when all this was going on at first. You look like you had a heck of a lot of fun and I've got to tell you, that horse is old line performance royalty.

Emmy's got a good build to be a western horse. She's beautiful.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Oh too funny!!! That's what I start thinking when I get on my friends horses.....and they have awesome run downs (very fast!).....I always slow down before the horse does and get in trouble......I'm a big chicken!!!!

After lots of postponements due to weather and illness, I eventually delivered Emmy for her 30 days, and I got to ride Hollywood again, BOY I love that mare

Well, obviously you have crossed to the dark side and don't want to do dressage anymore. I guess you will just have to send Ben to me for me to work with......
