Don't ya love it!?

Well as many of you reining folk know, I've had some 'issues' with my guy, regarding the spin and lope departures.......kind of stressed me out.....well today my pal, who is at the top of her game in reining came out to the barn to ride with me today....

AND GUESS WHAT! I had the best news ever!!!! It's ME not the horse!!! I'm too nice!!! Fantastic! She gave me a bit of a lesson on how to tune him up when he try's to do the sh!t he does....he's soft soft soft in the face, but heavy on his sides.....again, I'm to nice!

Got a great spin and a perfect lope departure and lope on both leads!!!!
Apparently my spurs are referred to as 'baby' spurs and I need something he's going to move off right away.....I can fix that!

I'd rather be fixing what I'm doing, then fixing a rank horse!

It's good that I need to be tougher.....because in many ways I'm good at that!!!

Anyway, that's my news!
