    I see that... so then I'm left wondering if I'm better to just not bother. To be honest, I don't want to put months and months of training (and money) into this mare because I know we will never be tops in reining. And, like I said, I dabble in several different disciplines. On top of that - this will be my first summer down south in a "horsey" province so I want to take advantage of shows, clinics, etc. I life 3000km further north in the winter so don't have an opportunity to ride in the winter... so I want to ride this summer. Finally, I'm planning on breeding his mare for a 2014 foal.

    So it's going to have to be either a month or nothing. I'll have to think on it some more and give the trainer a call to talk things through anyway.
