God needed anouther great reining mare. Roxy has gone to the bridge.

It is always hard to loose a horse. When it is a great horse it is even harder. She will be greatly missed by not just Stacy but her owners and all her fans. Gods speed Roxy and enjoy the great pastures up there.

I might cry D: I thought you had a horse named Roxy that had passed away nrhareiner...Didn't put two and two together until you said it. This is the mare that inspired me to train my own mare to be ridden bridleless. We'll never be as good as Stacy and Roxy, but I'll never forget the first time I watched their performance freestyle to one of my favorite Tim McGraw songs, Live Like You Were Dying....

RIP Roxy....I know you're still living through all your foals.

I seen another thread earlier today about this. How absolutely heartbreaking. And to lose her foal as well. Just horrible. As least they did get some foals out of her from embryo transfer, but still. This is just sad...I'm still in shock.

I'm still floored about it and just can't imagine losing a horse that great..and her foal..

Like I said in the other thread..Roxy was one of those horses that could light up an arena, give you goosebumps, and take your breath away in just a few minutes. She and Stacey inspired SOO many people..She was just amazing and will surely be missed by many..The reining world will be hushed for a while..
