Hope you get more of an answer than I ever did......the show organizers told me to come watch and do what the others do! Hahaha!

Ok.....so I was told, but someone who trains and shows futurity level, that I should speed up a few strides in the circle and do a slide stop in centre. It's point worthy and she says, if you can do it better, ie. A square or hard stop vs. a slide, then do it. Like riding one handed if you can instead of two etc. but I do believe I'm going to spectate a few local ranch classes and see what I'm up against......oh gee bring me a bucket.....nerves just thinking about it!!!!!!

Rescue Remedy. Some for you and some for the horse. Love it. Just a few drops and you are both good to go. It is a Bach Herbal remedy.

Really? I'm looking into that!!!!! I was considering taking my horse a beer and bringing my own flask and driver!!!!

Try it ahead and see how it makes you feel. I used to use it back in my H/J days-those shows totally unnerved me. But so far, my one reining show-no problem. Lol

Haha-sorry-summer is my busy season-chief in charge of entertainment at the vacation house. I don't have a free weekend so far, as much as I would rather be at a horse show......

Hmmm, I will have to try that stuff...I get show nerves bad but feel so good when I come out and think, "that wasn't so bad, that was fun" LOL
