Reining Competitions

What is a big reining competition? Not as big as the world but something that would be a big deal? I want to put it in a book I'm writing. Then what would the prize be? Money? Spurs? Something like that? I don't need huge details but enough to sound like I know what I'm talking about... (The rider would be a junior rider or a youth I geuss? Age 17?)

And love like crazy"

Well the big show would be the NRHA Futurity. That pays $125K+ to the Open winner.

However for a youth it would be the 14-18 world champion which is the high point in that age group for the year.
