Yes this one originated from a video but it was processed frame by frame through a .gif processor so that it could be used on my web site.

So the process would be the same.

But depending on how quickly her camera takes each picture she might not have enough frames to make it look complete.

Most digital SLR are more then 4 frames/sec. Most being in the 5-6 range.

And that is if you have a fast enough memory card!

I think the slowest video camera I'm acquainted with is 23fps, big difference gif wise.
