I want to teach my mare how to do a decent spin by April. I am NOT looking for a reining competitive spin, just one that is quick and looks decent.
I entered the Wind Rider competition at the Midwest horse fair and if my horse and I do well at the preliminary level we get to do a freestyle pattern. Since spins typically generate a lot of excitement I wanted to add it to my pattern in I make it to that level in the competition.
So I would like to know the basics of the spin movement and how one can go about training it.
I don't have the financial means to go to the reining trainer. So please don't tell me too.
Thanks in advanced
