When Reining, do not omit the....

.... sunblock. Especially when you are working in the outdoor. Improved my turn, fried my @ss....... ouch!

I have seriously been too nice/lenient with my horse.....now I'm paying for it by frying my brain and over thinking my rides.....grrrrr!

LOL! I can so relate. Some riders hear 'heels down!' Others, 'put in them chicken wings!'. Me, I hear 'Quit overthinking it, dummy!'. *Sigh* It's like an abusive relationship, my trainer and I.... :p

I was seriously all jigged up about going for my first official lesson since owning my horse (9 months) and just found out her lesson days have changed....so now I'm just going to haul out and ride....urgh! I really need a lesson.....sigh!

I can never remember to put sunscreen on myself, but I can somehow always remember to put sunscreen on my gelding's pink nose, lol.
